Andy is an experienced global health and diagnostics professional with a proven track record of helping companies develop and execute strategic marketing functions, commercial strategy, and product strategy.
With a deep understanding of markets and technologies, Andy excels in stakeholder and consultative engagement with public health, government, NGO and multilateral organizations in the U.S., Canadian, and international markets.
Andy has 10+ years’ experience in management consulting and 10+ years’ experience in the life sciences private sector and brings a wealth of experience in POC Dx and infectious diseases, with a strong background in supporting government agencies with strategic policy and navigating scientific and industry engagement.
Andy’s unique talent for facilitating, synthesizing, and communicating technical and business concepts allows him to assist in the translation of science and technology, market needs with business objectives.
Andy has a Bachelor of Education, Biology, Science, and Chemistry from University of Ottawa, and a H.BSc. in Biochemistry & Biotechnology.
Scott has over a decade of experience working with healthcare diagnostic companies, serving in leadership roles in sales, strategic marketing, tactical marketing, product management and scientific affairs.
Scott specializes in infectious diseases, having supported the design and successful commercialization of more than a dozen multiplex diagnostic IVD and research use only tests.
In this work, Scott has developed relationships with a expansive network of KOLs in infectious disease medicine, emergency medicine, and laboratory medicine.
Scott enjoys working with novel technologies that are in product development or early commercial stages, helping these companies design studies to generate the impact publications necessary to drive revenue generation.
Scott has a successful track record helping clients develop government engagement strategies to secure non-dilutive grant funding.
In total, Scott has written over 100 conference posters, manuscripts, white papers, and grant applications.
Scott has a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Elena is an MD by training, with a PhD in Biology and an MBA in Healthcare Management. She has over 15 years of experience in life sciences and diagnostics, bringing together expertise across industry, academia, and the NGO sector.
She previously served as Head of the Technology Innovation Programme at FIND and led clinical and business development activities for a startup focused on breath analysis.
Throughout her career, Elena has collaborated with more than 30 diagnostic companies to support product development across infectious diseases — including TB, HIV, hepatitis, respiratory pathogens, neglected tropical diseases, and others — from feasibility through technology transfer, manufacturing, and scale-up. She has designed and led evidence generation for regulatory submissions, implemented new diagnostic technologies in-country, mapped and engaged key stakeholders, and built strategic partnerships at both national and international levels.
As a consultant, she provides hands-on operational support for product development and technology transfer projects, technology scouting and due diligence, analytical and clinical evaluations, implementation studies, QMS strengthening, and regulatory strategies (including CE-IVDR and WHO PQ). She also supports fundraising initiatives. Elena brings a broad network of clinical, academic, and NGO partners. Her key areas of interest include infectious diseases, women’s health, and self-testing.
